House Bill 2655 permits parents and adult students to opt-out of Oregon’s statewide summative tests in English Language Arts and Math by submitting a form. The school will provide a local assessment to evaluate student progress to those who opt-out.
To best support school district planning, you are encouraged to submit Opt-Out forms to the school by January 1. This form is only valid for the current school year. Parents are required to submit an Opt-Out form annually should their student to be exempted from testing.
